A little domain/URL trivia…
As well as our founding date, 1995 was also the first year there was a cost for domain names. We bought our domain name, geoart.com, in 1996. At the time, URL’s were limited to maximum of 7 characters, so we had to come up with a short URL that best described our business! GEOART is Geological Artwork abbreviated. Today, a domain name can be up to 63 characters!
